Seed Savers

Started by Melancholy Bear in Bear Good Fruit: Seed Exchange 2 months ago

We have finally arrived on our new homestead. I've started building my grow station. Now I wonder if any bears have excess seeds available. I can buy them or reimburse you for postage. And once I buy some seeds, I can offer some for trade too. (I won't need to start them until sometime in March.)

are you looking for anything specific?

Not so much. Beggars can't be choosers. I wouldn't turn up my nose at any of David the Good's survival gardening crops, which are: amaranth, asparagus, beans, broccoli, brussels, cabbage, carrots, cassava, cauliflower, chaya, collards, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, fava beans, garlic, ginger, kale, kohlrabi, melons, moringa, okra, peas, peppers, potatoes, radishes, spinach, squash, pumpkins, sugar cane, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, turnips, yams, yaupon holly, zucchini.

Hi I have lots of seeds I don't plan on using, including some of those. I don't have time to list them now but if you send me a message, we can talk about it when I am free :)

I offered them on the  Survival Gardening group on SG as well. DtG is a mulberry cheerleader. Osage Orange is among the highest BTU/cord firewood but won’t give you calories.

@backoftheenvelope Sure, I'd take some seeds of each. I don't need all of them. My email is melancholybear69 at gmail.
